Tournride offers the following cancellation insurance options, designed to complement the cancellation policy outlined in the terms of use.
The standard cancellation policy is also presented here for comparison purposes. This insurance policy does not apply to agency reservations, which are governed by their own conditions. Tournride Full Assistance (TFA) is not cancellation insurance: it covers assistance during the trip and gives no right to a refund for cancelling the reservation.
Without Additional Cancellation Insurance
Right to Refund
- Exactly 80% of the amount paid is refunded, with no deduction for bank fees, provided the cancellation is communicated at least 20 calendar days before the start date of the contracted activity (counted up to the day before the start). With less than 20 days’ notice, there is no refund.
Reservation Modifications
The deadline for making modifications to the reservation (dates, bikes, sizes or any other element) is 20 days before the start of the contracted activity. Changes to the reception or return location can be made up to 10 days before the start.
Contracting
This cancellation policy will be the default option if none of the Cancellation Insurance options are contracted during the reservation creation process.
Basic Cancellation Insurance
Right to Refund
- With the insurance contracted, 90% of the amount paid is refunded, except for the insurance premium, which is not refunded. The remaining 10% is a management fee, which includes bank charges. The reservation does not need to be paid in full.
- You can cancel for any reason, without having to justify it, up to 23:59 (Spanish time) on the day before the start of the reservation, even if the bicycles have already been shipped. The time the request is received counts, not the time it is read.
- Not covered: non-payment, failing to show up, and cancelling once the trip has started.
- Partial cancellation: 90% of the amount paid for the cancelled part is refunded, within the same deadline. The premium is not reduced.
- When cancelling with Basic insurance, the cost of returning the equipment is not charged. In the case of an early return on the route, the return charge still applies.
- These conditions apply to reservations made from 5 October 2026. Reservations made before that date keep their conditions: 100% of the amount paid is refunded, except for the premium.

Reservation modifications are not part of the insurance: they are governed by the terms of service, which are the same for all customers (up to 20 days before the start; up to 10 days before for the reception or return location).
Contracting
Basic Cancellation Insurance must be contracted during the reservation creation process, exclusively online. Once the reservation has been confirmed, it will not be possible to include it.
Modification or Cancellation Procedure
You must send an email to info@tournride.com, clearly stating your intention to:
- Cancel the reservation.
Price
The cancellation insurance amount is 7% of the total reservation amount without insurance. This amount is non-refundable.
Plus Cancellation Insurance
Right to Refund

Additional Guarantees
- You can cancel at any time during the rental. The cost of returning/repatriating the bicycles and accessories will be covered by Tournride. Repatriation does not entitle the customer to a refund for unused days. The client agrees to return the equipment to the agreed location with Tournride, which is generally:
- Your last accommodation, as long as it does not incur an additional cost. If there is a cost, it will be paid by the client.
- A Tournride partner.
- An office of one of the transport companies Tournride works with.
Contracting
Plus Cancellation Insurance must be contracted during the reservation creation process, exclusively online. Once the reservation has been confirmed, it will not be possible to include it.
Modification or Cancellation Procedure
You must send an email to info@tournride.com, clearly stating your intention to:
- Cancel the reservation.
- Wish to abandon, leaving all the material at the agreed pick-up point.
Price
The cancellation insurance amount is 12% of the total reservation amount without insurance. This amount is non-refundable.
